We've very much been trying to push Stream as the defacto video solution, but without simple features like being able to pull a feed of videos in a channel it just doesn't meet the requirements for any of our solutions.
We basically need to be able to generate embed code dynamically to always embed the newest video of a channel in an intranet. Does anyone have any success here? This seems like it would have been basic functionality Stream shouldn't have shipped without, but in reading the history of API posts here it seemed API was "a few months out" in 2017, then coming in 2018, now tabled to Q2 2020.
Microsoft has been great at product improvements and frequent updates in recent years, so I'm puzzled as to why some of this basic functionality hasn't been added--forcing us to continue to tell customers to use YouTube and Vimeo.
