Microsoft Stream Video Retention

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate it if someone can tell me what is the retention time for videos uploaded to or recorded on Microsoft Stream. I'm also interested to know if and how the announced launch of the new Stream app will affect the videos currently residing on Stream (Classic).

I am interested in setting up Retention Policies on our Stream environment.
I am unable to find any information about this option, only references to youtube videos stating it's coming soon. Hoping there are some updates available?

@gborn1200 The ability to retain and delete Teams meeting recordings won't work before recordings are saved to OneDrive or SharePoint. For more information, see Use OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online or Stream for meeting recordings.
