As recently as 3 months ago, putting a link to a Stream video in a PowerPoint worked but now we get the error message "cannot download the information you requested". A link to https://web.microsoftstream.com, directly to a video and with ?noSignUpCheck=1 are all affected. Linking to SharePoint Online, Sway, Forms, etc. that use the same login are not affected. The behavior is the same in other Office 2016 software.
