How to ingest video's original xmp metadata ?

I have around 1000 videos to make available to my users. Microsoft stream would be a nice solution for that. Our videos already have embeded XMP metadata (title, keywords, year, etc.).

If I upload a single video using the standard upload option, none of the metadata is kept and I have to enter them manually.

How do I upload a video so that Stream use the original file XMP metadata ? Would a powershell do ? Am I out of option ?

Sorry, we do not have any support for XMP metadata in Stream. You would have to add the metadata to each video file as you upload it in to Stream.

You could add this as an idea in our forums.  I searched quickly and didn't see this requested yet: http://aka.ms/streamideas
