Reuse downloaded transcripts in replaced videos

I just replaced a video in stream and lost my transcrition of the video. But i downloaded the old transcript of the replaced video and would like to know if i could upload this transcript as a subtitle.

PS: i tried to just upload the txt. document and that didin´t work.

@Diogo_de_Xerez Can you please explain a little bit more, what didn't work? Error while uploading or is the content not displayed after a successful upload? And why a txt file and not a vtt file? It has to be a WebVTT file. And see the hint on this docs page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-autogenerate-captions#upload-a-custom-caption-file

Try uploading it as a .vtt  not .txt  @Diogo_de_Xerez
