How long does it take for a recorded Teams meeting to be uploaded to Stream?

Copper Contributor

Hello,
How long does it take for a recorded Teams meeting to be uploaded to Stream?
I made a recorded interview and over 3 hours later, I still can not access the recording.
This is a pity, as I am working on a deadline. I did not know that the slow delivery time was a feature of Teams. Had I know, I would have used some other service.
Could you please make this process faster in the future?
Thank you!

@MarjukkaL my record has not been uploaded since Friday, I do hope the records are still somewhere in the cloud???

Similar issue.

A progress view would be appreciated to show it is working!

The same experience... waiting for ages. Hope this will improve soon.

@ryantlAs of early 2021, all meeting recordings should be stored in SharePoint (Channel Meetings) or OneDrive (Standard calendar meetings). Either way the meeting recording should be stored in a folder called 'Recordings' in either OneDrive/My Files or the Documents folder of the Channel in the Team's SharePoint.

See this article for more information on the recording storage locations:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/play-and-share-a-meeting-recording-in-teams-7d7e5dc5-9ae4...
