Creating Autonomy in MS Stream - Tips and Advice

Copper Contributor

Hi,

i'm working with a organisation where they require autonomy with their groups and channels within Microsoft Stream. They have specified they don't want to risk putting any videos in Companywide Channels and want to restrict their users to uploading content to just M365 groups that is linked to  Stream groups. Has anyone experience something similiar?

Can anyone share their top tips when creating a structure of group channels and groups thats worked well for them in the past? Any advice of managing M365 groups (stream groups) where they have a mix of privately owned videos and publicly owned videos - do i just create another group and deal with the baggage that comes with creating another M365 group?

Privacy and storage management are the two most signficant concerns that i have noticed so far.

any advice will be welcome.

Thanks

Anne
