Using Azure Migration Appliance to identify data sources

What do other think about using Azure Migrate appliance - Azure Migrate | Microsoft Docs to help ensure that every asset is monitored by Sentinel? would this be helpful and necessary or add to much complexity?

Wouldn't Defender for Cloud tell you this under the Inventory menu option?

That will only tell us about devices that have already been found and registered. I am interested in determining what may have been missed
