Security baseline for Microsoft Edge, version 90

We are pleased to announce the enterprise-ready release of the security baseline for Microsoft Edge, version 90!

We have reviewed the new settings in Microsoft Edge version 90 and determined that there are no additional security settings that require enforcement. The settings from the Microsoft Edge version 88 package continues to be our recommended baseline. That baseline package can be downloaded from the Microsoft Security Compliance Toolkit.

Microsoft Edge version 90 introduced 9 new computer settings, 9 new user settings. We have attached a spreadsheet listing the new settings to make it easier for you to find them.

As a friendly reminder, all available settings for Microsoft Edge are documented here, and all available settings for Microsoft Edge Update are documented here.

Hallo all,

The security baseline for MS EDGE v.88 only contains a very few settings when importing to GPO, can that really be true? I had expected that there would be a high number of settings that should be set.

Do I miss something or are there an issue with the security baseline for MS EDGE v.88?

Are there any settings that you believe need to be enforced that aren't? The baselines are intentionally streamlined to make them as manageable as possible. Have a look at the "Baseline criteria" section of this post - the same logic applies to the Windows, Office, and Edge baselines:

Current Baseline for Edge in Microsoft Endpoint Manager is September 2020 (Edge version 85 and later) - when will there be a updated version?
