Providing end users with a great experience on their managed apps is as important as having the right portfolio of apps. If your people don’t have a good experience with an app, they won’t use it - it’s as simple as that. That’s why Intune managed apps are designed to provide end users with the consumer-grade experience they expect, while giving you the control you need to ensure your corporate data is protected across your ecosystem of mobile devices. Today we’re excited to announce that both the Skype for Business and RMS sharing apps now support MAM without device enrollment scenarios. MAM without device enrollment is a great option for BYOD scenarios where you want to keep corporate data safe without managing a user’s device - a win for both productivity and protection.
  • Skype for Business Online (for iOS and Android) – now available without device enrollment. We’ve also added conditional access capabilities that allow you more control over app access and data. Conditional access and MAM without device enrollment scenarios require modern authentication to be enabled. For more on this, check out this post from the Skype for Business team. See Skype for Business in action in this latest episode of EndPoint Zone with Brad Anderson .
  • RMS sharing (for Android) – now available without device enrollment. Additionally, we’ve updated the RMS sharing app with functionality that allows you to apply policy that enables end users to view images, AV, and PDF files more securely, this single app can now take the place of the Microsoft Intune AV Player, Image Viewer, and PDF Viewers for Android. For more on this update, check out this post form the RMS team.
