Hi,
If I have a mailbox on forever retention hold policy and want to recover items that have been deleted is the way only way to do it to use "content search" and download to a PST or is there a slicker way of injecting deleted email back into a mailbox.
Also what would be the procedure for SharePoint or OneDrive?
Thanks
P

SolutionThe devil is in the details here, it really depends on how the messages were deleted and where they are currently stored. The eDiscovery approach will work in all situations, but for some cases the following approach might be faster: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/recoverableitemscmdlet/2018/01/08/45/
