Hello Everyone, Periodically we receive questions on how RDP fits into the protocols that Microsoft produces. The Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is part of the Open Specifications initiative . For example, through the Open Specifications program, developers can build their own RDP client implementations using the provided technical documentation. A list of RDP protocol documentation related to RDP can be found here . Documentation Errata We are now publishing errata for the protocol documentation with enabled RSS / ATOM feeds so that developers can stay up to date on any changes. Below are links to these newly available resources: Windows 10 Technical Preview Protocol Documentation For the Windows 10 Technical Preview we have published Preview documentation for new and updated protocols in PDF Diff format. The Diff versions contain revision marks showing changes specific to the Windows 10 Technical Preview, as well as document updates made since those documents were last published on May 15, 2014. The documents can be found at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee941641.aspx We are making these changes to allow ISV’s easier access to the information they need in developing RDP clients.

Note: Questions and comments are welcome. However, please DO NOT post a request for troubleshooting by using the comment tool at the end of this post. Instead, post a new thread in the RDS & TS forum . Thank you!
