Prevent Members from joining a public Team

Hello,

we´re currently trying to prevent some users from joining a public Office 365 Group/Teams over Sensitivty Labels.

What we´ve tried so far is creating labels in the Admin Center and assigning them to groups but people can still access the group and join them.

Unfortunately, we have failed so far without success. Is that even possible to do this with labels?

Hi, in my understanding this is not possible with labels. You could just disable that guest users can't join the specific group. Also in my opinion it would make more sense to change it to a private group if you don't want every user to be able to join that group.
