in Toronto, Dell just announced the first VDI reference architecture based on Remote Desktop Services in Windows Server 2012 and RemoteFX (RDP 8.0). We expect more of our OEM partners to announce VDI reference hardware in the future and will blog as they do.
The complete end-to-end hardware is available today, including the RemoteFX-certified Dell Wyse endpoints. The reference architecture is optimized for the small- and mid-sized business market, providing a balanced mix of Remote Desktop Session Host (session collections) and pooled virtual desktop collections for the lowest cost per user.
