AIP for Office 2013 standard

I just want to know AIP could support Office 2013 Standard or not? If yes, What's the difference with Office 365 pro plus. Thanks.

In summary, you can apply labels for classification only (labels that apply encryption for protection won't be visible), but you will be able to open encrypted content.
