User Profile property - display settings not affecting Delve (Edit profile page)

I am trying to make the "Hire date" (SPS-HireDate) available for edit in a users edit profile page in the new Delve experience.

Editing user profile property display settings (namely "Show on the Edit Details page") has no effect on the Delve "Edit profile page". Changes like these might be timerjob based, but it has now been nearly a week since the change, and still no luck.

Do I miss out on something?

If I'm not mistaken, this is something you cannot achieve in Delve...for now only Microsoft can customize Delve pages.

I'm having the same issue. You used to be able to add additional fields to the edit profile screen but they have disappeared with the new iteration of Delve.

yes, this has since disappeared with the new look of Delve. How nice of them... but you can still get to the old edit view manually: add this to your domain url: domain-my.sharepoint.com/personal/userid_afsusa_org/_layouts/15/EditProfile.aspx
