Europe’s tech scene came alive this summer and early autumn with a series of MVP-led events that blended innovation, learning, and community spirit. Here’s a look at some of the standout moments that made this season unforgettable.

This summer and into early autumn, the Microsoft MVP community turned Europe into a vibrant hub of innovation, collaboration, and learning. From hackathons to deep technical dives, MVPs brought their expertise and passion to events that connected professionals, inspired creativity, and showcased the power of community. 

Across the continent, MVP-led gatherings highlighted cutting-edge technologies like AI, Azure, and  Power Platform, while fostering meaningful connections among developers, IT pros, and tech enthusiasts. Whether in bustling cities or historic towns, these events were united by a common goal: sharing knowledge and building bridges across cultures. 

 

Standout Moments from Summer & Late Summer 2025: 

CollabDays Madrid 2025 – a vibrant gathering of professionals and MVPs united by a passion for Microsoft 365 and Modern Work.

CollabDays Madrid (June 5) – CollabDays ES is Spain’s largest event focused on Microsoft 365 and Modern Work. Held at Microsoft’s offices in Pozuelo, it gathered 250+ attendees, continuing the legacy of Microsoft 365 Saturday and SharePoint Saturday Madrid. Organized by dedicated professionals and MVPs, this free conference fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

 

Data Saturday Zagreb, Croatia  (June 14) – A must-attend for data professionals, this event featured hands-on labs and deep dives into SQL Server, Azure Data, and Power BI. Networking opportunities and practical sessions made it a standout in the data community.

CollabDays Hamburg, Germany (June 28) – Collaboration was the theme, with MVPs leading sessions on Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint. The event offered practical insights for modern workplaces and created an environment where knowledge sharing thrived.

KulenDayz Osijek, Croatia (Sept 4-6) – A beloved event blending technology and culture, Kulendayz offered MVP-led tracks on .NET, Azure, and AI. DevOpsDays Graz, Austria (Sept 5-6)The inaugural edition of DevOpsDays Graz brought together developers eager to modernize their pipelines. MVPs showcased best practices in CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and AI-driven DevOps workflows, emphasizing automation and scalability.

Azure Fest Nieuwegein, Netherlands (Sept 17) – A summer celebration of cloud technology, Azure Fest combined technical depth with community spirit. Workshops covered Azure architecture, security, and AI integration, offering actionable insights for cloud professionals.

Nordic Summit Gothenborg, Sweden (Sept 19-20) – One of Northern Europe’s flagship tech gatherings, Nordic Summit attracted hundreds of attendees for deep dives into Power Platform, Azure, and AI. MVPs led hands-on sessions and shared insights that empowered professionals to innovate.

 

AI Community Day Zurich, Switzerland (Sept 23) –  A full-day immersion into AI innovation, featuring MVP-led sessions on Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and real-world AI scenarios. Attendees explored practical applications of AI and learned how to integrate intelligent solutions into their workflows. 

 

Deep dives, real-world use cases, and community spirit at Power BI Next Step Copenhagen.

Power BI Next Step Copenhagen, Denmark (Sept 22-23) – An independent, community-driven conference dedicated to professional Power BI users. The 2025 edition featured 18 breakout sessions and three full-day training workshops led by global experts. Beyond the technical content, community and collaboration were at the heart of the conference—highlighted by the Power BI Shootout, an interactive and entertaining evening session that celebrated creativity, fun, and innovation within the Power BI community.
