This week we are thrilled to be joined by none other than 12-time titleholder Dean Calvert!
Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, Dean is the founder, owner and Managing Director of Calvert Technologies. The multi-competency Microsoft Partner is one of Adelaide's leading technology service companies, specializing in businesses with 10-100 staff located through South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Dean's ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts has seen him speak as a business technologist at events across Australia, New Zealand and the United States for organizations including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, ConnectWise and Kaseya.
Dean's mission is to grow people, equipping and enabling them to achieve their greatest potential. This aim is evident in his work with communities.
Dean started and has been a part of the Adelaide SBS User Group since 2003. Then, in 2004, Dean met with Microsoft France to provide them with guidance and advice for starting their own user group program, which is now enjoying great success.
That same year, Dean was awarded Microsoft's Most Valued Professional award for his technical leadership and support contributions to the global business and technology community - an award he held until retiring from the program in late 2016.
When not working on his business or in tech, Dean enjoys cycling through the Adelaide Hills or flying his gyroplane to many of the exciting locations around South Australia.
