On November 2nd, 2017, Microsoft released an updated version #1710 (Build 8625.2121) of Office for Windows Desktop users in 44 languages.

If you are an Office 365 subscriber on Windows Desktop, then you will see the following features when you update to it:

  • In Excel, PowerPoint & Word we have released Digital Pencil (a new ink texture)
  • In PowerPoint you can now publish a video to Microsoft Stream.
  • And last but not least in Word the Translator functionality has been given a complete overhaul. Our team were instrumental in making this a reality! The translator now supports 61 languages. Its performance is much improved. The translation quality it produces is the best it ever has been and it will continue to improve over time. You can now also translate entire Office documents.
