Office 365 for Windows Desktop - January 2018 Release details

On January 17th, 2018, Microsoft released Office for Windows Desktop version #1712 (Build 8827.2148). Our Office International team translated this release into 44 languages.


If you are an Office 365 subscriber, then you will see the following features when you update on Windows Desktop:


  1. In Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word you can now convert SVG icons into shapes.
  2. PowerPoint users can now animate 3D shapes with 5 new animations appearing when you select a 3D shape. Have a look at it in action below...
