I have a mailbox with Exchange Online Plan 2 and a 100GB mailbox that has recently reached it's limit. We have tried to clear out emails, but the emails are not deleting from the Deleted Items folder.
I have tried with Chrome, Firefox and Edge. But we are unable to delete the messages. I navigated to Outlook Settings > General > Storage to try and empty the folder this way, but once you select what to delete it looks like its processing but nothing will be deleted.
I tried manually deleting 1 email at a time even from the Deleted Items folder and it just reappears in the folder within a second or two without any need to refresh the page.
This is a big issue as the Outlook applications the users PC and phones are starting to experience issues sending and receiving emails. Does anyone have any suggestions?
