Unable to Adjust Column Width in Word

Hello, 

I am using windows 11. This is fairly new system, within the last 3 months or so. 

I just ran into an issue where the table I have inserted into my word document has the column width locked. I have done google searches and tried all of the basic troubleshooting with table properties with no luck. I am able to adjust the row height, but the column width is fixed. 

I have never seen this over the course of similar work with similar documents, so I am not really sure what the issue is here. Any help is appreciated.

Additionally I saw one thread on here that referenced a header setting of "different even and odd pages". This option is not checked, only link to previous is checked.
