Renew Azure Data Engineer Associate certification

Copper Contributor

Hi there experts,

I received a renewal email the other day for "Azure Data Engineer Associate" stating:

"Your Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is now eligible for renewal. You have until November 2, 2024 (UTC) to pass the renewal assessment."

However when I follow the link in the email and log in to my Learn profile the "Take the renewal assessment" link is inactive.

and when I check the Certifications area under my profile there are none listed.

Can someone help?

Cheers

Create a question on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport

You are likely using the wrong account for Microsoft Learn
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/?show-only-username=true

@Julian_Sharp

Thank you yes I was using the incorrect learn account, so merged the old and new work accounts.

Turns out that my old work email is setup as a personal account so I cannot merge it to my real personal account.

And the instructions I found to transfer from one personal account to another personal account fail at the first step.

e.g. https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us/mcp/forum/all/move-certification-from-one-personal-accou...

Do you have any hints at how I would achieve this?

or should I start another post?

Cheers

That link is old. Microsoft have merged certification profile with Learn profile since then.
You can add multiple accounts to your learn profile but only one personal account

Create a question on the Certification Support forum using the link I provided. I'm not sure what you can do and it probably needs support to merge the accounts.
