Problem registering for an exam

Copper Contributor

Dear folks,

I try to register for MS exam, after I have provided my personal details I pressed Continue button and got to the discount section. There I entered my work email (that should guarantee me a discount) and pressed Check Eligibility. Then I got a popup and pressed Agree for linking accounts. Then MS forces me to log in again, I try to log in with my personal account and I get this error:

Message: AADSTS50020: User account X from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application 'Y' (Microsoft Learning Identity Service) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

Could somebody point me what is the problem? What does it mean?

Best Regards and Thank you.

I faced similar issue while registering for certification exam with Azure . Were you able to resolve it

Hi
I have exactly the same issue as you described. Did you manage to find anything which could resolve an issue?
