Inconsistency between experience points on learn pages and on my profile page

The attached screenshot highlights a different in experience points as shown in the learn pages and on my profile page,

What does this difference mean? Why is there a difference?

I believe the XP shown on the learning pages is the amount required to get to the next level and the one on the profile page is what you've earned overall?

This is what I believe too! Learning pages shows the completed/required points to complete the current level & enter into next level.
