Flat file from unix to Windows server creates carriage return

Copper Contributor

Hi Guys,

Seeking some help.

We receive a flat file from a customer which is generated in Unix binary mode and pushed to our Windows FTP server. Each line record should be in single line, however on some files the line is split into 2 causing the file processing to fail. The split always seems to happen at the same position.

Any help would be appreciated to fix this issue.

Thanks
