Published Apr 13 2021 08:00 AM 5,733 Views

We’re always adding to our training and certifications portfolio, and now you can discover the new role-based learning paths and modules that we released last month on Microsoft Learn. Look for new ways to build and deepen your skills and then validate them by earning certification. Check out our four new Power Automate modules and a new Finance module. This month, we also have a new learning path (with six modules) that explores how to upgrade from Dynamics AX 2012 to Finance and Operations apps. Work through these and other modules at your own pace. Using free, online training on Microsoft Learn, you can develop new skills to use on the job—and to show your employer that you’re ready to advance your career. If you need help figuring out which training to take, check out the Dynamics 365 learning paths page and the Microsoft Power Platform learning paths page, where you’ll find useful collections, learning paths to get you started, and popular modules.

I'm pleased to see the App Maker PL-100 course is now live in training days but I'm surprised that it's so short. Considering it is an associate level course it and that it covers both automate & power apps, I thought it would at least be a full day if not two to allow deep dive into model driven apps, dataverse etc.

HI

The official course for App Maker PL-100 is two days and personally the training days just given a basic overview

You need to build apps and flows to pass this exam, the MS Learn material is pretty good but you really need to get hands on

@Julian Sharp thanks for your reply, I haven't seen a two day course, is it yet to make an appearance on VTD?

Learn Expert

@dschorah the instructor led course is 2 days. The virtual training days seems to be either be 1/2 or 1-day sessions which are not enough in my opinion, they are a taster or a starter, you need to do a lot more yourself afterwards

Even the 2-day instructor led course requires more learning and hands-on post the course

Actually the PL-100 Instructor led course is 3-days - Even longer to get your hands on the product and get instruction from a training expert :)

@Jane_Howell_MCT Thanks, good to know. Do you happen to know where they're available to book?
