- In Microsoft launcher app drawer, it is not allowed to select apps and drag them into a folder that has been already created. Currently, the only way to add apps to an already created folder is to open the folder and click on the green plus icon to select apps that you want to move in to the folder. It would be a great addition if the alphabetically organized apps listed in the drawer could be selected and dragged into the folder you want.
- When trying to add an app into a folder that has already been created, you have to open the folder and click on the green plus icon to add apps to the folder. It seems that it is very confusing and time consuming to add apps into a folder while sorting through all available apps. Apps that are already assigned to another folder are shown which makes it a tedious task to identify and sort through apps to move them into a folder.
The folders in the drawer does not allow you to select and move multiple apps to the home screen. You can only move 1 app at a time to the home screen.
- There are several bugs When selecting and moving multiple apps out of the folder within the app drawer. It creates a duplicate app icon outside the app folder while also retaining the app in the folder. When trying to delete one of the apps that were dragged out of the folder it deletes all the other apps that were dragged out of the folder all together. Not all apps that were selected gets dragged out of the folder.
- When using a foldable phone like the samsung galaxy z fold variations, there needs to be a way to control the app rows and columns separately from the front screen and the inner screen of a foldable phone. The front screen and the inner screen share the same rows and column settings which creates an app icon size and usable space problem. The front screen has less space compared to the inner screen which is bigger on a foldable phone. When optimizing the rows and columns to the front smaller screen the bigger inner screen has space that are not used while also showing very big app icons. For example, if the front screen has to be optimized to use only 4 rows and 10 columns, the inner bigger screen of the foldable phone also shares the same 4 rows and 12 columns in a bigger screen which makes no sense. The inner bigger screen of a foldable phone should be able to show more rows and columns. If the rows and columns are optimized to suit the inner bigger screen, the front smaller screen of the foldable phone becomes broken or shown with very small app icons and app names which makes it very difficult to distinguish and read the apps.
App folders should be allowed to be created using only 1 app. Currently app folders can only be created when selecting 2 or more apps.
