Q. How does Microsoft Cloud App Security work with Kaizala? A. Just tested this. Kaizala Management Portal is listed within Cloud App Security if you go to https://portal.cloudappsecurity.com > Discover > Cloud App Catalogue > Search Kaizala. However, this does not include the web portal (browser based) - of course, Kaizala doesn't have a desktop app. So I guess you can apply policies to the Kaizala Management Portal in Cloud App Security - but I can't think this would be very deep at this stage
Q. What happens when a file that is protected by Azure Information Protection labels gets attached to a chat in Kaizala? A. I have absolutely no idea on this one Dean - again can't find anything at all it. In terms of the control of documents, you could use Kaizala with Intune and App Protection policies (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/kaizala/integrate-with-microsoft-intune) which in addition to using group policies via the Kaizala Management Portal (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/kaizala/group-policies) this should at least be able to stop the content in Kaizala being forwarded or copied. Also, I guess it would be a policy matter because documents which are restricted or highly confidential are probably not going to be sent on Kaizala. However, ultimately it would be a case of testing it to see the exact behavior.
Hope that gives some clarification. It is very grey in this area and with Praveen Maloo now gone we don't seem to hear as many updates in the community or the blog.
