WIP Policy for outlook client

Copper Contributor

I have deployed a WIP policy and as a result of which I can't copy and paste from work applications to non work applications, however it doesn't seem to be working on outlook application.

I can do copy and paste through it.

Could you please refer attached screenshot and let me know where am I doing wrong.

Try following one by one,

1) Outlook

Publisher: CN=Microsoft Corporation, O=Microsoft Corporation, L=Redmond, S=Washington, C=US
Product Name: microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps
App Type: Universal app

2) Edit WIP policy, Add protected apps > Office-365-ProPlus

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/information-protection/windows-information-protect...

3) Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise and Office 2019 Professional Plus apps are set up as a suite. You must use the O365 ProPlus - Allow and Exempt AppLocker policy files (.zip files) to turn the suite on for WIP. We don't recommend setting up Office by using individual paths or publisher rules.
