Hi @ElieAT

That's correct and normal, User Enrollment requires Managed Apple IDs.

Hope this helps!

Hi @ElieAT

You need to sign up for Apple Business Manager. They do a quick check which may take 10 business days. After signing up and having access to ABM, you need to create users within the console and those accounts are managed apple ids. You can also use SSO for those accounts with your Azure identity (happy to help you with this as well).

I can go on and on about the other benefits you gain with managing MDM devices using ABM.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot you helped me
Glad it helped!

@Moe_Kinani I have a similar issue.  I am the admin for the Microsoft tenant.  We have a user who now cannot install the management profile on her phone.  It says the apple id is not supported and to try with a managed ID.   The problem is, this just started of the blue, her phone stopped working one day and we tried to reinstall her management profile and now we stuck here.  We have removed her phone completely from the Intune portal as well.

This one has me stumped, we can add anyone elses phones, just not this one user.
