Update Intune Company Intune on DEP devices with App Store restricted

Hi All

I hope you are well.

Anyway, the scenario:

• DEP devices (No VPP)
• Restricted use of the App Store via policy
• Intune Company Portal displays a message that it ran into a problem
• Intune Company Portal tries to update via the App Store - which is restricted via policy

Deploy Intune Company Portal via VPP or any other ideas?!?

Install company portal with VPP as part of the DEP profile.

Why not use VPP??

Not sure as the client has VPP all set up working, maybe it's VPP Phobia
