update apps automatically intune

Hello,

I have several apps uploaded to intune to install on the computers that I have linked to intune. I find myself in the situation that every time a new version of an application comes out I have to look for the executable version and modify it in intune to upload the new one. Is there a way for apps to update the version themselves instead of loading the executable? These are Windows computers

Depends on the app... but for example if you install apps with winget and or chocolatey you can create a scheduled task with it to update those apps

Other apps:
-PatchMyPC ? 🙂
-Assuming they are not local admin: EPM (so people can update the app themselves)

I upload the applications directly to intune to applications, these applications are for example adobe reader, firefox, opera and I wanted to know if from intune you can do this so that they update automatically
