Unable to change device category on Android Device after enrollment

Hello,

 

we are unable to change the device category on an Android (Corporate-owned, fully managed user device) after the enrollment.

If I go to our endpoint environment and select the android device, its not possible to change its device category to another value (see the attached screenshot). If I want to select another category when Im on the phone itself its also not possible to change it.

 

On Windows Devices this is no problem, can you help me here?

That's weird indeed.

Looks like you cannot save, because the management name is missing.
Hi Jan, yes you were right it was because of the missing management name... silly
but also the UI could be better to markdown such things. I mean yes the red star is an indicator of a mandatory field, but yeah.
