Mobile device not checking in into Microsoft Endpoint Manager

We have several mobile devices which are running the latest version of Android which has been last checked in since 31/8/2020. 

These devices has a network connection via WiFi or cellular data (4G). The devices are not checking in every 8 hours.


Now we have the problem that some employees forgot their passcodes to unlock their screens. 

We have tried to use the Endpoint manager portal to reset this passcode, but since they are not checked in the last 8 hours this action could not been performed.


Is there any way to force a check in?

Where you able to solve this?


If not, what version of Android are you running? are the managed using Android Enterprise or Device Admin? what version of Company Portal is installed?
