We are migrating to a new Office 365 tenant. We have intune as our current MDM though it is not configured correctly. All it is doing is enforcing a pin. When we remove the profile from the phone the company data stays intact (Email in our case). We will be moving to a new MDM solution after the tenant migration so I don't need to migrate intune data to new tenant. I have a couple questions about what to expect. The goal (if possible) is to keep access to email for users on their device throughout the migration.
If we just leave intune alone and migrate our custom domain to a new tenant what will happen? Will those devices start alerting users and freak out?
Are we better off to remove the profile from the intune admin center from everyones device prior to migration?
