Intune has an option to restrict MacOS app installation, for example, only from App Store. However, this does not apply to command line tools like PowerShell on Mac or HTTPie, meaning all CLI tools can be installed regardless of the restrictions in Intune, you simply need to enter the user password.
Is it possible to limit the CLI apps installation via Intune? Is this even supported?

Hello @pvlklsv
In the Apple ecosystem you only can use “Apple ID federation” this way you can white list and black list apps on all Apple devices. I am writing a blog in that direction as well. If you wish, I can share the blog with you in couple of days.
