Intune-protected Microsoft Edge

Brass Contributor

Is there a way to prevent the other Intune-protected apps from coping data into Intune- Protected Edge?  We are trying to prevent someone from using Edge to go to a site and then pasted corporate data into that site. Thanks.

You can do it using Windows information protection policy for Windows. You just need to whitelist all the urls (user allowed to paste) under Cloud Resources.

Hope this helps!

I’m sorry I should have mentioned that this is for mobile devices. I guess it’s the same process, just use the url whitelisting?
I don’t think you can achieve the objective in Mobile devices. You can block copy to any managed/non managed apps. You can’t whitelist specific urls.

Have you tried creating a separate app protection policy for Edge (and only Edge) and select that no data cannot be copied into it.
