Hi all,
We are in a pilot project where we want to use Android Shared Device Mode, but we can't get Google Managed Web Apps to work either by Chrome or MS EDGE. We have tried both Configuration Designer and with the json file, but it only opens the first time you push the icons (if MS EDGE is deployed and is the default browser, if Chrome it only "blinks" shortly in browser window and then returns to managed home screen).
Have tried the following:
Device one:
Device two:
In device two scenario if we exit managed home screen we see the browser is still running with the page loaded from the web clips/managed google web app, so its like if browser is open and you try the same managed Google web app it's not allowed to open browser again.
Anyone have any experience with Android Shared Device Mode from Intune and using managed Google Web apps, or just an idea how we can resolve this?
Regards,
Daniel

Hi @daadsk ,
After creating web apps in the managed google play store, you must create a configuration profile(restriction) for Android Enterprise. In this profile, select the configurations under "Device Experience" as below:
Then configure the managed home screen app layout by adjusting the icons of your web apps.
This should work like a charm. Let me know how it goes.
Gott nytt år 🙂
