How to remove co-managed devie from Intune

Hi ,

After disbale the co-management from SCCM, we have decide to remove the device from Intune. I tried to retire the device but it's not working. 

After retire the device, account is getting removed but next restart it's prompt to add work and school account. after provide the deatils device is getting enrolled again.

Kindly suggest, how we can remove co-managed device from Intune.

Have you tried deleting the device from Intune instead?

No. But delete will also intiate retire in backend .
