how to grey out firewall settings in windows 10 using endpoint manager

Copper Contributor

hi guys,

I want to enable domain, public and private network firewall in Windows 10 using endpoint manager and make the settings grey out.

Our environment is that we have couple hundreds of Win10 21H2 that is co-manage with intune and SCCM.

I tried to use Endpoint Security and the policy does applied and enabled the firewall settings for enduser. However, it did not grey out the settings (our user has local admin access).

Hi,

And what happens when trying to lock it down with Powershell ad described here

Also please note: when a user has local admin access... there is no security :) ... Just like putting a good lock on the door but giving the burglar the keys?
