Solution
As per MS documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/compliance-policy-create-windows

Antivirus:
Not configured (default) - Intune doesn't check for any antivirus solutions installed on the device.
Require - Check compliance using antivirus solutions that are registered with Windows Security Center, such as Symantec and Microsoft Defender.

You could also use a powershell script with Intune/MEM proactive remediation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/analytics/proactive-remediations

Just like Ambarish told you, if mcafee is registered successfully with the window security center it could be used for the compliance check.
