Blocking users from signing into device if password not long enough

Hi all,

Is it possible to set a length users need for their password otherwise block sign in? 

I was thinking conditional access / compliance policy however I am unsure how the condition policy would look.

Neither a CA policy nor compliance policy can enforce this sort of check.

Perhaps a viable alternate strategy would be to deploy Azure AD Password Protection - Azure Active Directory - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn.

Why focussing on passwords? why not looking at other safer options available to login to their device?
The Entra password protection that kurt mayer mentioned would be the closest thing there is to accomplish such a thing
