My team needs to plan a bug bash for our product, and we will have >100 participants. It is fairly possible that lot of people will submit responses at the same time. We also need to use Excel as the data store for logistical reasons. Given these restrictions, I am contemplating Forms as a solution on the front end with Excel as the DB.
My question is, will this solution scale for such an event with loads of parallel responses coming in, without leading to data loss scenarios? We know from experience that directly using Excel or OneNote lead to conflicts very easily and the end result is absolutely not workable. Any suggestions on how we can work off Forms and store our responses in Excel would be very welcome. Thanks!
