Share and collaborate with Forms

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I have a user that is trying to share a form to collaborate with someone outside of our organization. We have the option turned on to allow people outside the organization to collaborate, but when she sends the link out, it is asking the user outside of our organization to log in with a Microsoft account. Does the person on the outside of the organization need to have an Office 365 account to collaborate? We can't get the share to collaborate to work with anonymous users.

Thanks!

Hi Brandon

This page may have some helpful info:

This question is from the above page.

-------
Can people without an Office 365 account still submit a survey or quiz on Microsoft Forms?

Microsoft Forms authors can toggle their settings to allow users outside of their organization to respond to their survey or quiz. In this case, users will be submitting responses anonymously. If you want to see who has filled out your survey or quiz, you can require respondents to fill in their names as part of your questionnaire.
-------

I haven't tested whether a normal Microsoft Live account can log in to do the survey, but from the Microsoft website information, it seems to suggest that you can just fill these things in anonymously without an account.

It might be worth setting up a free Microsoft email account and testing the survey with that login?

Best wishes and good luck!

Cheers
Damien
