Rating Scale Flexibility

Brass Contributor

It would be very beneficial to have more than a 5 or 10 option rating scale. We very commonly use a 4 rating scale as a 5 has middle ground if a user selects a 3. If using a 4 rating scale, that cannon happen.

I have added your feedback to our backlog.

I have the same issue.

Sometimes our scales dont even start at 1, it could be 5 to 9.

So flexibility is requried.

Also, a dropdown is better than option buttons in some cases where we're evaluating across multiple categories so they can be rated adjacent to each other.

It would also be nice to label these with whatever we'd like. While it's nice to choose a 1 to 5 scale and name 1 and 5, we might need a 1 to 4 scale with a specific label on 1, 2, 3, and 4. Or if we could create our own labels without tying it to a number.

Totally agree with that.
