I agree. We need some kind of recourse to prove we're legit.
I had a conversation with MS tech support yesterday, where the MS tech asked for remote access to my screen. She saw that my use (gathering volunteers' contact information for a nonprofit event) was not phishing, agreed that it should be unlocked, but after consultation with another department, said there was absolutely nothing she could do.
Please MSFT, help us! And empower your tech support to act!
