Today, I had a client who wanted to add a link to a One Drive file with an MS Forms question.
I ran into two problems.
1) Pasting the name of the document without a hotlink.
2) Pasting the OneDrive File URL and displaying the way too long full /domain name/ my name and more. See the image below.
Here is a workaround solution that I used.
1) I used cutt.ly or bit.ly websites to generate a Free shorter url link and pasted it in the MS form. The client was happy BUT....
Here is my question to Microsoft. Are there any plans to insert hyperlinks in an MS Form and be able to change the URL Display name to a shorter name without going to third party sites or displaying the long url?
I don't like when my clients say "Google Form solutions" are better than MS. I am team MS.
