Does Azure ATP consume some Azure Service?

I need to validate that when I enable Azure ATP I will not have consumption of any Azure service.
Do you know if there is any document that supports this?

Azure ATP does leverage azure components in the backend--its built like a true cloud-application.  That said, the pricing for AATP is purely user-based.  If you send us 1TB of data a day, its the same price as if you send us 2MB a day.  We eat the cost of providing you the service.

For that reason, its an EMS licensed product and not and Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) product.  I hope this helps! If not, would love to further discuss.
