Troubleshooting Check-in Status Error -2147024891 and Force Policy Update

Hi

A majority of our MDE managed Windows Servers does not apply the configured policy setting for 'Allow Scanning Network Files' and states the error code '-2147024891' in the report of the policy for these servers. Get-MpPreference also states 'DisableScanningNetworkFiles: False' on all of these servers.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this error and force a policy update?

Even though it's been quite a while since I posted this, I would just like to informe that I discovered that 'status error -2147024891' in our Intune environment occurred because we had configured the same setting through GPO in our on-premises Active Directory domain.
